How this hail check works
Weather radars across Colorado scan storms every few minutes and estimate the size of hail inside them. NOAA keeps those records. We look up your address, find every radar hail detection within 3 miles, and group them by storm day.
What the results mean
The table shows the largest hail the radar estimated near your home on each storm day, and how close it came. Hail about 1 inch (quarter size) and larger often damages shingles, gutters and vents. Smaller hail can still damage older roofs.
Hail near you doesn't always mean damage
Radar estimates hail in the storm, not what landed on your roof. The only way to know is an inspection. Ours are free, and we'll show you photos of whatever we find. See our after-the-storm checklist.
