These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of CharityRoofs.com, which is operated by Colorado Roofing Contractors LLC, doing business as Charity Roofs ("Charity Roofs," "we," "us"). By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
Information on this website
Our pages, guides and FAQs are general information for Colorado homeowners. They are not legal, insurance or financial advice. Your insurance policy, your local building code and your contract control your specific situation. Prices and timelines on the site are typical ranges, not quotes.
Charity Roofs is a roofing contractor, not a public adjuster or attorney. Under Colorado law, we can document damage, meet your adjuster and discuss the roofing scope and price under a signed contract, but we cannot negotiate your insurance claim on your behalf.
Hail check and wildfire code check
Our online tools are provided free, "as is," for general information:
- Hail check: results are radar-based hail estimates from NOAA records near your address. Hail near your home does not prove your roof was damaged, and no hail on the report does not prove it wasn't. Only a roof inspection can tell.
- Wildfire (WUI) code check: results come from the State of Colorado's Wildfire Resiliency Code map, Jefferson County's WUI map and published county rules. Maps can change, and cities and counties may adopt their own maps and amendments. Your local building department has the final word, and we confirm it when we pull a permit.
Data comes from third-party government services we don't control and may be incomplete, delayed or unavailable.
The $1,000 donation program
For a full roof replacement, Charity Roofs donates $1,000 of its own funds to the church, IRS-registered 501(c)(3) charity or K-12 school the customer names in the contract, within 30 days after the replacement is complete and paid in full, in honor of the customer's household. Commercial and multifamily projects receive $1,000 to $2,500 based on roof size, as shown on our Giving page and stated in the contract. The Giving Program is a company marketing program, and the donation is the same whether insurance or the customer pays. The donation:
- is paid by Charity Roofs directly to the organization, never to the customer;
- does not reduce the contract price and is not a discount;
- is not a payment, waiver or rebate of any insurance deductible, consistent with C.R.S. 6-22-105;
- applies only to full roof replacements paid in full, not to repairs;
- is not tax-deductible to the customer.
We can't donate to individuals, crowdfunding campaigns, political campaigns or organizations, organizations outside the United States, or any organization the customer, a family member or anyone living at the property owns, runs or is paid by. We may decline an organization we can't verify, and the customer may then choose another. The full donation terms are in our contract. We may change or end the program for future contracts at any time; changes don't affect contracts already signed.
Calls and text messages
If you agree to receive calls and texts, Charity Roofs may contact you at the number you provide about your inspection, estimate, claim and project, including with automated technology. Consent is not required to make a purchase. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. See our Privacy Policy.
Your submissions
When you send us a form, you agree that the information is accurate and that you're authorized to request service at that property. Please don't submit anyone else's personal information without permission.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse the site: no attempts to break in or disrupt it, no automated scraping or heavy use of our lookup tools, no spam, and no unlawful use.
Intellectual property
The Charity Roofs name, logo, website design, text and graphics belong to Colorado Roofing Contractors LLC. You may share links to our pages, but please don't copy our content or use our logo without permission.
Links to other websites
We link to government agencies, manufacturers and other sites for your convenience. We're not responsible for their content.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
This website and its tools are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Charity Roofs is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages from your use of the website or its tools. Nothing here limits any warranty or right you have under a signed contract or under Colorado law, including your right to cancel under C.R.S. 6-22-104.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Colorado law. Any dispute about this website will be handled in the state or federal courts serving Jefferson County, Colorado, unless your contract says otherwise.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site means you accept the updated terms.
